In Genesis 2:18 we see the first real crisis in the Bible – God looks at man and says, “It is not good for the man to be alone.” It is here we see that we were actually created, hardwired for relationships – first a relationship with God, second a relationship with each other. It is because of this that we hold so tightly to discipling people in the context of meaningful relationships. 

As disciples of Jesus, we guide people into spiritual relationships with other Christians where they can grow and develop in the discipleship process. Small Groups are a vehicle where authentic and transparent relationships form and discipleship happens. 

Matthew 28:18-20 

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” NLT 

EVERYONE GROUPS:

Our Everyone Groups are co-ed groups with married couples or single individuals who are being discipled to make and send disciples who love and live like Jesus. We meet in small group relational environments, primarily in homes, throughout the week. We are pursuing deeper relationship with God and each other. Some of our groups provide childcare or work out creative ways to manage children while others do not offer childcare.

WOMEN'S GROUPS:

CyLife Women are better together! We believe in creating small group environments that are safe, where women can encounter a loving and accepting God and share their stories vulnerably with each other.

This is where we believe real life transformation happens and discipleship begins. We meet in small groups in homes all over Cypress, as well as Bible studies with small groups on our campus in the fall and spring. We welcome all women no matter where you are on your journey!

MEN'S GROUPS:

CyLife Men’s groups are committed to meeting together in authentic, safe, and confidential small groups all over the Cypress area. We are actively seeking to grow to spiritual maturity while being discipled to one day go and make disciples of Christ, using the methods of Christ.

Join a men’s group where you can be fully known, fully accepted without the fear of rejection. The men of our church and community also have an annual opportunity to lock arms in our men’s study. We walk through The Quest for Authentic Manhood, a 24 week study by Robert Lewis, designed to help men understand their true masculine identity.

Our mission as a church is To Make and Send Disciples who Love and Live like Jesus. We want you to be a disciple and then go make disciples.
